Hi Puddles,

It's been a few months since you got that Chinese made inverter welder. I'd appreciate it if you would refresh my memory about some of the specifics of it.

What do you think of it now that you've had a chance to use it a bit? Have you had any issues with it that weren't apparent at first?

Unrelated to welding---have you had any summer weather in your neck of the woods? None here so far. We could still have a good, long summer but it would have to start this afternoon and stretch into late October. I'm guessing it won't happen.

All the best, Stan

Hi Stan!

The welder still runs perfect. One of the best SMAW machines I've ever used, especially for the money! The reason I bought it was for the hot start, the arc force wasn't a real big selling point for me. I wish the hot start was hotter! Few weeks ago I ventured down to your neck of the woods and bought a Lincoln Invertec V350-Pro. If any of the welding supplies around here would have had a demo for me to try I never would have bought used. Now this is the best SMAW machine I've ever used! It has adjustable hot start and adjustable arc force. I only played with it a short time with GMAW but I loved what I seen. Went to use it the other day for some Mig welding but something is wrong with my LN-25! I have another SA-200 generator being checked out in Seattle, when it's ready for pickup I'll take the LN-25 in to be looked at.

Stan I gave up on summer years ago, at least now I don't have to work in the rain.

Now that is cool!! I really like the looks of those little green machines. Im seriously thinking of buying one, as a PA200 will have three times the duty cycle of my little stickmate, plus put out 40 mor amps. Could be nice to have.

But, I apparently have a job now, so I wont have time. This'l be the first legit job ive ever had, so its a nice problem to have. Sorry, Im just excited about it :)

I understand Everlast's manufacture had a mix up on the PowerArc 200s, the last shipment didn't have the 6010 port! Couple guys over on the other tractor site got them, but they are not complaining, so far.
For the money I can't see where you can go wrong. As much as I like my little PowerArc 200, I don't think I'd buy one of their multi-process machines, I think I'll stick with Miller and Lincoln for that!

When I bought this 350-Pro the kid let me do what ever I wanted to it. I ran it through the mill, took my LN-25, some pipe coupons, some plate, and different rods. I was impressed, I should have bailed on the deal, and went home and ordered a new one!

Jeeeze, I think i'd miss that :D

I probably wont be buying any tools until I have
time to use them. But, Ill find a way to make
time, and keep the videos rolling.

That sounds like a really sweet deal. I can never
find good used stuff around here, our craigslist
is full of AC-225s, and Chinese junk. I feel kinds
jealous when people on the other forum post their
smoking deals. Id love to find a bigger welder, a
nice dial arc or idealarc or even a good solid
drill press locally, but i never can :/
