Question For The WD Experts

My son is restoring his grandpas WD. It s been sitting and needed rims so we found a WD for parts and bought it. We bought a new manifold so we took the head off and had it checked out and it is cracked. So we thought we had a good head with the parts tractor so we took the head off of it and noticed it had been leaking between cylinders. Took it and had it checked and it s worse than the first one!!!

Question for you guys that know. Are most of the WD heads out there cracked?

I've never really heard of heads cracking. Blocks are notorious for it, but not heads.
