how much would it cost to have my 1206 injection pump to be rebuilt?? is it worth doing the injectors to? I might do alittle tractor pulling with it would putting a 450 head on the pump be much more in price and would it real help with power? and if I go that route would bigger lines be better. Thanks for the help Jeremy

A 450 is a awfull big pump. You need big lines, big injecters and a big turbo to handle all that fuel.Plus a pusher pump to feed it instead of the internal lift pump.I run a 390 with IH 429 cid. engine injecter tips.

You can call DL Diesel in South Sioux City, NE at (402) 494-1738. My brother can give you a quote on the rebuild. He can make his recommendation on rebuilding the injectors but why would you do one and not the other, if you are going to be serious about pulling. Unless you are going to dump massive amounts of fuel to it then the stock lines will be ok. It all depends on how serious you want to be with spending your retirement dollars. It takes air and fuel to make a fire. If you don't match the turbo with the fuel injection then you are wasting your money.
