question on a 411b

did case offer a 411b with out the case-a-matic

Not to my knowledge, the even numbered tractors were Case-o's,4-6-8, the odd, 5-7, standard drives in the 00 series.

the little 500 was the little 400 w/o COM. (more or less)

I think the 500 shared the 164 engine with the 600, the 400b would have had the 148 cid engine

You"re right. I went the wrong way. The 300 is more like the 400 w/o the COM. The 500 would be more like the 600 w/o COM.

i bought the tractor to be a 400 but it does not have a com. i think it might be a 430. how can i tell which one it is. it is a diesel with triple range no hand clutch. the number plate is missing.
