Question on LA seats

I really got into taking my LA apart this weekend. Pretty much down to frame, motor, and final drives left together. When I was taking apart the seat I noticed that the seat bolted off center on the seat bracket. This is a 9 hole seat and is believed to be the original seat. The seat does have a bend or two in it, nothing major, but enough for me to question wether it got bent or should be slightly off center. Original bolt is not bent and straight. The seat bracket is also solid with no bends that I can see. Anyone else notice this or do I just have a seat that is banged up?

Found a lot of missing gaskets as I got into taking things apart. No gasket between the carb and exhaust manifold, no gasket at the belt pulley cover, no gasket between the manifold and block. I also found no gaskets on the final drive covers. Ironically, I got a whole box of new in the package gaskets with the tractor when I bought it.

Just looked at my LA. Looks like the seat is slightly off-center to the left if viewing tractor from the rear. Seat is also nine hole, but sort of loose on mounting bracket. I did not measure to see how much it is off center.

That's exactly how mine was before I took it off. It was a bit loose, and a bit off center to the left from the back. I'm thinking that is the way it is supposed to be. I looked a getting a new seat and they are not slightly off center. I think I am going to stick with what I have.
