Questions on MF 180

I have spotted a reasonable looking 180 at a local salvage yard that looks to be in reasonable shape and might make a good plowing match tractor. I am curious about the hydraulic capacity and can power beyond be added to the hydraulics, It is a four cylinder gas motor that is free, supposedly running when parked, ya' I know, it has the 12 speed transmission in unknown condition, are parts available for this tractor? are they a good handling tractor? are they generally reliable?

Is it a Continental gas engine or a Perkins gas engine? Parts for that particular Continental are a problem.

It's the Perkins AG4.236 By the photo. Still not an easy engine to get parts for. The Diesel would be MUCH better. The Continental G206 gas would be like finding hen's teeth when parts are needed.

Well I took a chance and bought the 180, I pulled the loader and cab off and cleaned the fuel system and replaced the points and condenser and it runs pretty good it drives well and all of accessories seem to work the multi power seems to shift properly, the wiring has been pretty well hacked and needs attention as well as all fluids changed, it will be an interesting project as there were very few Masseys in my area.
