Questions on my Fordson

So I got this tractor a few years ago. Was told it’s a super major but after some research I’m not so sure. It has the super badge up front but it has drum brakes and no diff lock. It has a 1964 serial number on the engine. Is this a super major or is it mixed with a power major rear? Been getting somethings fixed on it. Trying to get the power steering to work better. Had that apart and cleaned up the valve area. It steers ok to the left but is very hard to the right. Seems like the valve don’t travel enough to help going right. Is it out of adjustment? I’ve had the newer Fords steering cylinder apart and had no issue but this one is a pain. Any advise would be appreciate.

That hydraulic control makes me think New Major Diesel from transmission back. That does look like late model Super Major tin wear. I believe you have a mutt. I have never had a great deal of luck repairing those old steering cylinders and control valves. You can still buy them ,I just replaced one on my buddies 5000 a couple years ago.

Fordson Major "Bitsa" ( Bitsa this Bitsa that) That is a Fordson Major back end on a Super Major, seat looks a bit "special" too. Those steering cylinders were a pain to repair even back in the day.
