Quick Attach for Loader.

I have a 530 with a Case loader on it. I also have two buckets for the loader. I do need to switch buckets every so often, but with having arthritis in my spine and other places it's getting near impossible for me to make the switch. So, I'm looking into having a quick attach system added to the mix. The only problem right now is I have no idea what something like that will cost me. There is an Menonite gentleman near us that makes these for anyone that needs it. I don't want to make a cold call not knowing that much about it and what kind of money this project should cost. Can anyone supply the information and approximate cost of what I would like to do?

There are several different quick attach systems, the skid steer one likely being most common. Which one are you considering? As a guess, I would expect you are looking at $1000 at least. Anything here on what it "should" cost is purely a guess without all the details. The best way is to ask him which one(s) he builds and an approximate cost. There is nothing wrong with asking for a quote, then you are dealing with real numbers. Don't forget any bucket or attachment you want to use will need to be modified as well to work with the quick attach, add those to your estimate.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have much experience with any of these systems. I remember a neighbor that had a new John Deere tractor with a quick attach system on it. I didn't pay much attention to it other than pushing two levers to lock the bucket into place for him. That had to have been around thirty years ago. I do understand that I would have to have both buckets modified to reach my goal. I'll take a drive to his place tomorrow to gather more information from him.

The info from him and his price is the best starting point.

I've bought the SSQA plate for the bucket/attachment side as cheep as $150 them got a welder to attach it to the bucket.
The tractor side is a little more complicated.
There is a guy, dont remember the website, that sells the complete tractor side hookup.
I found a tractor side SSQA and had it modified the fit my tractor.

I wanted to post a photo of my 530 but couldn't find it at the time. Anyway, I talked to my with wife about my plans. She said it won't fit our budget. We just built a new house and it burned up most of out savings. Oh well, such is life. Can't have everything.
