Quincy compressor

Have a Quincy 120 volt that has worked great. Today it gets up to 50lbs fine and then motor starts to lug down,after 55lbs I belive it would stop itself.

Any ideas where to start?

Start with the motor. Disconnect it from the pump if you can and run it. Check the voltage, the amp draw, the connections, etc. If all good, then maybe the belt is on too tight or the bearings in the pump are going bad and starting to bind. If you can set the crankshaft endplay, check that too - too little will load up the motor.

Take the motor to a motor shop, its going bad.
