Radiator Hose

On my utility 300 I have a radiator Hose @ 6 inches long from goose neck of the radiator into a neck going into the top of the engine how in the world do you get that hose on, do you have to unhook something. Help is appreciated.

That's nothing, the hoses on the Farmall A and all the others with the 113 and 123 engines are under 4 inches, top and bottom, you have to take the radiator loose from its' mounts to remove and replace.

use 250grit paper on the necks. use dish soap, or tire mounting lube to get the hose threaded onto one end, then slide it over the other! Jim

I was taught that the first rule of field service work was:

"There is no problem so complex that it cannot be solved with brute strength and ignorance."

Rule number two was:

"If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyways."
