I purchased a radiator for a 3610 with hydraulic cooler inlet/outlet without realizing the hydraulic cooler was external. Can I just cap the inlet/outlet on the radiator as they wont be used and radiator will function correctly for cooling engine?

It can be capped and left unused, but I'd plumb it in series with the external cooler, more cooling is always better for your hydraulic oil.

Is this a generic radiator that fits several models, I can’t find a listing in Ford parts book for a oil cooler equipped radiator for a 3610 model
There is such a listing for some industrial models with torque converter transmissions but nothing for a hydraulic system cooler
Simplest is to plug the radiator's cooler fittings to keep dirt out and forget they are there
