rain from Issac

Well, Issac went up the Mississippi River valley, got into an eastward flowing air current, mixed into a cool front, and is now giving SC some rain. 1.85 inches here so far and more falling. Soybeans should yield very good this year. The ones i looked at last week were waist high or higher and had beans set. This rain should fill them out. Some areas have had a lot more rain than I have.

Well i got 2 sprinkles after 3 days of prdictions of 70 to 80% chance of rain and flooding. Shelled corn today about 50bu acre and it might be my best field. Had fellow from northern MD here over the weekend and he couldn't believe we had a dry year.

Zero here in east central Iowa.

We had a couple of rains in August that greened up the grass and beans. Now it"s turning brown again. The beans are starting to turn so what is there is there. Not much.

North east MO and I got just under 6 inches( the rain gauge ran over at 4 inches, but the bucket in the yard said 6in.) Gary maybe you will get some this week, they have us at 30% for the next three days.
