Rain gutter.

After years of not being cleaned enough the rain gutter on my shed is getting pin holes in about a 4 ft. section. What can I trowel in the bottom so it doesn't leak to bad. Silicone? Calk? plaster? Cement?

I should add This is a 42 ft gutter but there was a low spot where dirt and leaves sat. About 4 ft. Rest of gutter is good.

Have you seen the commercial for the stuff that can turn a screen door into a boat? Never used the stuff but... I've used silicone successfully on gutter leaks several times on a small area but not on a large area.

Henry wet seal. Comes in chalk tubes or buckets. I use it on all of my roof penetrations and Gutters.

Actually called wet patch. Nasty stuff so wear disposable gloves. About $10 per tube.

This stuff works pretty well. Sprays on, no mess, dries clear.

Try Flex seal. Comes in spray cans.

It just dawned on me. I have some of that black plastic cement I used around grain bin floor. I bet that would work right?

Use anything but silicone. It is the most mis used sealant on the planet.

Plain old black roofing cement is cheap and seals well.

I agree with Flex Seal, probably a pint can or 10 aerosol cans. Success depends on good prep.

Lot of Flex Seal ads on the TV. What they leave out is coverage area per can and cost. Some are hilarious. There are 2 kinds of roofing "tar" that I have used over the years.....a paste and a thick liquid. Price is low compared to effectiveness and area covered per $$$. Get out an old 4" bristle brush, maybe shorten the bristles for improved strength, and a can (sized to your job) of the semiliquid and have at it after you clean up the surface...better you do that, better chance you have of success. Even if you do a sloppy job of preparing, if you get a solid coat of the roofing material it will make its own gutter and serve your purpose.

For a long term solution, maybe replace that section of gutter and shore it up to drain effectively?

If ice is catching the top edge of the gutter maybe keep it at its present height and add another downspout at that location.
