Rat rod Cub

I built this mess from all the junk I had saved. I would swap the lowboy parts to sorta running standard Cub. Well the engine had a knock so I thought I’d stick some new rod bearings in. Turned into a new crank and pistons. Hydraulics had worked in another life but now leaking. Rebuild kit for touch control. I adapted a mule drive from standard Cub to fit the lowboy. Went to put the mower in gear ,jumped out. New shaft and coupler. I ran it a little and found it needed a radiator. Now we know why it was on the junk pile. Anyway, I have it working. It’s starting to grow on me and I am seriously thinking of leaving it ugly. Paint would make me forget what it has put me through.

I watched a YouTube video by Farmall Fanatic of a recent auction in northwest Pa with several Farmall tractors. I was disappointed at the prices, Cubs, 200, 656, M etc. sold for a fraction of the prices I remember from 20 years ago. I think there are more for sale than there are buyers who want them.
