Go to job Deere parts . com and select agricultural parts and select search for parts. You should be able to find parts. Hope this helps.

That could be a 3 or a 4 cylinder engine and the gaskets would be near the same for a 2240 or a 2440,,and I think there is a separate book for the hoe part,, there should be a number for that hoe attachment, you can get parts information off the Deere parts site, and the parts view is handy to sort out how things come apart..

JD ind 300 will have a 3 cyl engine.

300I, Pc-972: engine gasket kit RE501574, they used 152 ci. gas or 135 ci. diesel. [same a 1020 ag. tractor; If my thinking is right 300 I trac. used 9300 model backhoe . Pc-1235 jdparts .com Service Manual, SM-2062 ... hope that right..

believe the diesel was 152 and gas was 135.....43 hp

Yes, about the only difference is the piston/liners...
