Re:2940 hydraulic and trans problems

Hello again everyone, I posted last February about my 2940 hydraulic and trans issues. Had a tech from my local deere shop come visit for several hours with a truck load of testing equipment. The concensus is that one of the trans pipe was bad, so I bought every pipe in the trans. Once I had everything needed to fordge ahead with the task I split the tractor. Now I have a empty rear-end houseing I was able to get to all of the pipes. So I have started to install the new pipes and they are not the same exact pipes as the old ones. The biggest problem is that the 2 pipes that attach to the oil cup are bent in a different configuration and won't alow for the oil cup to set down on to them, I called deere back and confirmed that I did have the right parts.. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Sorry I can't help. I have no experience or ideas on how to replace lubrication oil lines in diff housing. It will surprise me if the lubrication lines you're replacing in diff housing are causing your tractors hyd problems.

The tubes can be checked first by removing shifter cover then having the tube that goes from the pump to the shifter dump in a bucket and measure flow. Then a bypass hose can be installed and any difference.

It's been ages but some of the pipes were updated. Instructions didn't come with the pipes but our parts guy found them and printed them off for us. You need to have him look for the update instructions. Can't picture what you're calling the oil cup. Been too long and I don't have access to the parts files now.

Hydraulic high/low transmission optional on those ? Was the hydraulic engaged pto optional ?
