Yes, it looks like it is a 1948.
I think the "FAA 1" is actually FAA I.

Square front axle and foot throttle mean that it was an Industrial Model, but that is just about the only difference between a Farmall model and an International Industrial model.

Thanks for the information. Now I need to figure out what to do with the tractor as I have no desire to keep it. I don?t like parting out complete machines cars or tractors but it seems as if the Farmalls are worth more for parts than whole.
The tractor will start with a few try?s with the hand crank but it has a lot of grinding when putting in gear even after holding in the clutch for 10 seconds. The adjustment seems correct as there is not excessive free play and that would mean full travel for disengagement. That probably means splitting the tractor to check for any binding and from past experience starting one thing leads to other issues and that means more dollars spent and less return.
