I love my Costco hearing aids. I have done my research before and after getting them. I could have went to a place that wanted $8,000 dollars for a pair. I know at least 2 people that went there and have nothing but trouble with them and are not tuned right so they cant hear chit. My costo hearing aids work for $1499, and you can retest re tune anytime you feel necessary. If they quit working for some reason you can walk in and they will fix them for you on the spot at ANY Costco even if you didnt buy them at that location. You get a 6 month moeny back trial if you so choose to purchase them. How can you go wrong. They will change your world.

I have Costco hearing aids. If I had to do it over again, I wouldnt get them. Pretty much just noise amplifiers for me. Been back to reset them but to no avail. I admit they do make sounds louder but I
can not understand what you are saying any better with them than I can without them. I fear my hearing may be too far gone for hearing aid to do any good for me.

As Uncle Tom says, do research. A bunch of good reviews online does not mean the aids will help you. Go to a couple different audiologist to see if there is agreement on the style of aid you need. I have been wearing aids for about thirty years. If you get something that is not designed for your type of hearing loss they do little more than make everything louder.

Thumbs up for Costco. I'm on my second set (lost one of the first set after 7 years). The service is outstanding and I couldn't find a better price. And after initial purchase
I never spend an additional dime for service. The original set had replaceable batteries (number 13 hearing aid batteries), the current ones are rechargeable, I prefer the
replaceable batteries, but I don't always agree with progress.

Seriously, I've tried expensive ones(one set cost $7,000) and the cheapies. Nothing seems to make much difference for my hearing because my right ear has tinnitus to an extent that it blocks whatever sound comes from that direction.

I have Costco hearing aids. They work well for me. Rechargeable. I don't wear them when I'm working outdoors because of sweating/damage concerns.

just fine, every one else just has a
problem with mumbling. LOL

The biggest problem I have with hearing is my wife thinks that just because she has to wear hearing aids I should have to wear them also.

I've tried two different pairs from the VA and neither helped enough to make them worthwhile, if at all. My problem is not with loudness, I have a problem picking one voice out of a group, and I've been told hearing aids can't help that.

I owe Costco/Jabra an apology. Couple weeks ago I posted I was taking my new aids back cause the battery life went from all day to maybe 4 hrs. I realized
the life went down after my 2nd visit where the tech paired my aids to the phone and showed me how to use the app. Had a great time listening to music and
taking calls but battery was slashed. Read the book and it says streaming devices will reduce batt life. I understand It now and they are keepers. can wear
all day if I limit streaming. I really only need to bluetooth to open the app to make the focus forward selection. Works perfect to cut surrounding
noise to what I was hearing uniaded which turns out was not much. The aids are then tuned to listen for sounds in front of me. Works like a charm. Can set
in a noisy restaurant and hear people at the table without all the noise. Another benefit is in a noisy vehicle it mutes road and wind noise so that I can
now hear the radio cause its where Im lookling. You will find that Costco only sells full featured aids now all about $1700 and service has been super.

Ive got the $6,400 Hearing Aids and they work fine. Rechargeable and can control from my cell phone.

I have Costco Hearing aids. I listen to Seris(sp) radio while doing field work for the neighbor.
Maybe that is different than streaming. It does shorten battery life, at least not too much.
Anyway, that's what works for me.

Thanks for the update, John. I have no idea how my prescription replaceable-battery hearing aid do when streaming, because it's not something I do. I suspect it wouldn't be so noticeable, since the batteries are good for almost a week under normal conditions; streaming for a few hours a week shouldn't affect them that much. I do want to try using my hearing aids to take calls; just haven't figured it out just yet.
