the 1010 W was an industrial version of the RU or row crop utility version ag green tractor.
it had some different options that made it stand out . one was that they were usually all painted john deere industrial yellow
also most of them had power steering as yours does. most also came with the industrial version heavy duty big western fenders and alot of them came with a float ride seat.
also the W model had a different front axle. you can find on line the W version of parts book and sometimes an idustrial service manual.

Thanks for your reply , It is already getting things done around the farm. I do have some questions about the power steering and the governor/Throttle lever on the dash....mine seems to be rusted solid and is on the left ? Does someone have it installed wrong or do ya think its just rusted fast? Haven't had much time to monkey with it due to getting ready for winter(I am way behind on that).lol
