I found the eBay pushrods shortly after I put up the first post. I don't see any flow in the radiator, I wonder if the noise it the water pump grinding up the mouse bones from the nests? Easy enough to test, I can just take the fan belt off and listen.. Lots of other mouse nest in the tractor so I might have to flush the cooling system before I tear in the front cover.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
