Hi All

The energy value of propane is 92,500 BTU /GAL versus 125,000 btu/gallon for gasoline. going just by that the trimmer will use about 35% more propane than gasoline to put out the same work. My $0.02

It's simple. Use a Mac Coupler Propane Refill Adapter.

It works best if you put the empty bottles in the freezer. I also tip the full bottle upsidedown and works great. You can hear when it quits filling, and I weigh them to see how close it comes to a pound.
