I finally found out what the problem was with my park brake on my 1999 3500 Dodge. The park brake pedal itself was broken. I found more info on the web about this problem. Apparently it is a somewhat known problem. But the bad news is a 98 and 99 maybe 00? are the same. Found plenty of 94 through 97 in a local salvage yard but they were different. Also found a 01 in the same salvage yard again different. But I did find a 99 pedal assembly on E bay which should be in the first of the week. Just two nuts and one bolt to replace. I have my old one off and waiting on the replacement. Thanks for the suggestions.
