Years ago I was hauling corn from the combine for my Brother in Law, neighbour that did his combining supplied the trucks. I went
to grab a loaded truck one night about 11 pm, a fairly elderly Fargo with a 5 and 4 only to find the clutch pedal stayed on the
floor after stepping on it. Owner came along, had a look and found the slave cylinder for the clutch was leaking. Put truck in
lowest of gears, started it and throttle shifted home about 10 miles. Put a kit in the cylinder, dumped the load and was back by
10 the next morning

i had that same thing happen and it just happened to be a 5+4 but behind a gutless 427 Chevy. i stopped on the road, slid underneath to put the rod back in the hole and took off again.
