Re upholstering IHC seats ????

New seat upholstered parts are out there but if you took a picture and measurements with the seat base, a car upholster shop might do it. All States Ag Parts carries IH seat parts. Use that to compare to an upholster shop.

What style seat? Cushion or pan?

There's a chance that someone who works with re-doing motorcycle seats might be able to tackle the job for you.

AnIHC seat with crimped edge. The person or company must know how to properly re upholster and re close the crimped edge. There was at one time such a company but haven't seen one since/

What tractor ? Appears u are talking about the pan seat that needs a cushion. They sell them complete.

I know that they are sold complete YET JUST wondering if any one on the states side reupholsters them >>>THERE used to be;. Does any one still carry on the work or did that person pass away and on one continued the style of work in the states.

I have bought covers that fit over the top of the pan then there is a string u tighten around it to hold it on.

The lifting up and crimping pan the material to secure new canvas is something , That takes heavy duty processing.
Someone like K M manufacturing has some thing like that. Not an upholstery shop . The crimp will not be as good appearing afterwards or hold the canvas secure ,it will easily come out of crilmp afterwards . What I say.

You seem to be describing Silver Seats operation piloted by Darrell Darst, editor of Harvester Highlights. Darrell passed in 2019 and the company seems to have died with him.

You could try Stumps Upholstery in Leola PA. They did a Cub Cadet seat for me several years ago. I was pleased with their work.
