I bought a pair of welding gloves from Amazon with Kevlar
stitching. Holding up very well.
Don't remember who made them. Kevlar is the way to go..

Kevlar is not a form of plastic. It is more related to Nomax.
It will only burn as long as a flame is held to it.
 
Sorry for being slightly off topic but I bought a clear face shield for cutting and grinding from Lincoln and it was money well spent. Made extremely
well. Durable because Im not so easy with my shop devices. Wingnut

Just don't use them when using a wire brush on that bench grinder.
The kevlar fibers will snag in the wheel and pull you in.

He stated that the stiching is kevlar. Not the entire glove.
