I like to work on old motorcycles. Mostly Indian, and yamaha's. Here is my 1936 Indian four cylinder project. A long row to how before it's finished. The motor does run. When I get it finished I am going to take it apart and paint it. I do have a small bottle collection also, haven't done any bottle digging in along time. Stan

Stan,

Are there any or many particular pieces and parts that are have gotten really hard to find for those old Indians? Are the inline fours more rare than Chiefs and Scouts. I mess with some old BMW motorcycles myself.

The first time I saw your handle, the Indian Chief Motocycle is what I thought of.

I have collected model trains (mostly pre/post war stuff) since I was 6 , I'm 57 now . I have a few old radios, a Philco 1941 , a monty wards airline, and an old BC348Q.
A gas pump I'm currently working on and of course my tractors. Also there is a 1946 Chevy 2 ton under restoration.

My wife thinks I'm some kinda nut for having all these things but I really enjoy the fact I can wrench on something different just about every day.

One thing about what I do is the fact that I have so much stuff I have a lot of things given to me the last being 2 old horse drawn 2 row corn planters. Haven't brought those home yet. I'm still waiting for her to cool down after I brought home Dad's old 61 WheelHorse.

You had to ask.LOL

That's gonna be sweet when you finish. Iused to run stock cars for years. Started in the bombers and moved up to the late models. Puked a $20,000 motor one night and got sick to my stomach and decided to quit. I still enjoy wrenching on stuff but really enjoy boating and wakeboarding with the wife and kids.

I like to chase wild women and party all night long.
Last I remember catching either, it cost me a fortune!
So now I tinker with my old tractors and refurbishing old cars/trucks.
Both cheap comparatively! 8)

This one's not that old, but it was one of my projects I enjoyed.
It was painted with Valspar IH Red Tractor paint to boot. 1989 Dodge
PhotoBucket is going through some growing pains, so I'm stuck sending
a link instead of a slideshow. Sorry.
