real Ford manual

Where do I get real Ford 8n service and parts manuals? Reproductions of real Ford manuals are fine but I want the real thing, not an I&T manual.

Thanks.

You might find a set on E-bay. I was lucky enough to get all the real ford and parts and service manuals from the 9n through the 10
series tractors in the early 1980's when Ford pulled the local dealers franchise. I got the manuals and the tools. Not cheap, but have
paid for themselves many times.

Have you tried your New Holland dealer?
I don't know that you'll gain much though.
I have 1965 - 75 Fords. Have an original
manual for them and also the I&T.
Guess which one I use about 95% of the
time?
Yep. The I&T.
The I&Ts are very good.
And for some things they are more
practical.
Example: Adjusting the linkage under the
lift cover. The Ford manual says to use
special Ford tool # XYZ which are
unobtainable. The I&T explains how to use a
square and ruler to accomplish the same
thing.
And it's a lot easier dealing with an 8
ounce manual than a 4 pounder.

What's wrong with the I&T Manuals? They are very good and contain most all of the OEM Owner Manuals info plus a lot more. I wouldn't be without a copy for any of my models. So, which tractor model are you looking for? EBAY is the fastest place to look for original, used copies for just about all makes. There are also many bootlegged copies out there, most scanned poor copies of the OEM's and I say bad because they are not licensed by FORD copies. Look at seller's ads for the key word 'new' or 'used/original' - you just have to know how to tell them apart. You can find OEM Owner-Operator Manuals; MPC's (Master Parts Catalogs); Dealer Service Manuals; and sometimes specific manuals like for the governor repair, Sherman Transmissions, and Marvel-Schebler Carburetors. I & T Manuals are now owned by CLYMER but retain the familiar I&T name because it is a trustworthy name. The CLYMER/I&T FO-4 MANUAL covers the 9N,2N, and 8N Models, and the FO-19 contains the NAA/JUBILEE. If I only had to have one or two manuals it would be an I&T and an OEM MPC.

Nothing wrong with the I&T manuals. I have them for my Power Major and my Cub but the factory manuals have just a little bit more information (that's why it's 4 lbs not 8 oz). The I&T manuals also aren't parts manuals.

I was wondering if anybody handled the factory manuals, like Helm Inc who has official Ford car/manuals.

Are we censored here or am I missing something?

There are several websites that we are not
allowed to post links to. A couple of them
are competitors for selling parts and at
least one site that is a forum. The forum
split off from here in 2003 or so.
The split caused a lot of hard feelings
that still haven't healed.

Thanks. Understand a little now. I was after the manure show happened so had no idea.
