Reamer/King pin

If the pin is 1.13" and it is an unfinished bushing what size reamer would I want to use? If I don't own one and need to buy one would I want to purchase an adjustable one for the job?

I'm working on a Ford 1841 front end.
You can also see my post in the Ford forum also.

Thanks, jeff

I have a complete set of adjustable reamers. I'll see if I have a spare one.

When you install the bushing you'll need to clean it up.

On our Oliver 55 I was able to hone the bushings to size using a brake cylinder hone, it was time consuming, but it worked.

Is there a shop in your area that does heavy truck suspension repair?

It might be worth a call, see what they would charge to ream them if you bring in the axle and pins.

Reaming them by hand is not an easy job. Getting the bore to align perfectly is near impossible hand reaming them.

wttool.com is where I bought sets of adjustable reamers years ago at a good price and they seem to of worked out fine for me.

If the bushings go in the spindles any machine shop probably has a Sunnen hone, carry your pin, spindles and bushings in. Can't cost much more that a reamer.
