Rear Axle Drain Plug

Does anyone know what size the ID of this plug is? Got everything drained except this one it's a female square and I don't have a wrench..Thanks! Charles

3/4" a 3/4" drive or a squre bar and a cresent wrench.

On my 47 A the power lift filler cap has a male square head that fits nicely in the tranny drain plug and I just use a pipe wrench to turn it.

I never gave that a thought ? Good to know in a pinch. I'd hate to burr up my hyd. cap though.
You can also use the oil pump drive couplings on a 1/2" drive as it is 1/2" id and 3/4" od I keep an extra in my tool box.
