rear main seal?

Has anyone else had this problem with new seals? Went through the engine with all new seals and gaskets. Drove the tractor off and on for about a week, but didn't work it. No leaks at all. Took it to the field, and started plowing, after about 20 minutes,it started leaking out of the rear main seal!!!! I'm wondering if I have to much oil pressure. With engine hot, I was showing 75 to 80 lbs of oil pressure. I'm using 15-40 oil,
with neopreme type seal on the crank, and wedge seals on the bearing cap.The wedge seals were hard and would not expand, so I filled in the gaps with silicone. Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks, Bob

See "Replacing rear main without dropping crank? (NAA)" a few posts below. It does sound like you have too much oil pressure, why? Also, if you did not install the rawhide seals, only silicone, you will have a leak. Silicone just won't replace the rawhide seals. Sounds like you will be going back inside shortly.
