Rear tires

Looking for some rear tires. Don"t want to spend a lot of money. Will combine tires work on a John Deere 1530. Tires & rims are off a John Deere 95 combine.


18.4-26 Combine tires..
13.6-28 external_link says factor tires.

Would they be to wide and short?

The 18.4X26 will be approx. 6" taller than the 13.6X28. Fender clearance could be a problem with the added 3" radius. Does the hub move in/out, or is it fixed? The offset on the 26" wheel could cause problems if the hub isn't adjustable. Do some basic comparisions and see if they'll bolt on (I'm assuming they both have the same 8-bolt pattern). If they'll work, and you either already have the combine tires, or you get them cheap, go for it. Mike
