What do you tractor lovers think if I made my own weights out of concrete? I am a carpenter and have had lots of concrete experience? I have a Ford 3910 with a loader bucket.Useless without rear weights and a barrel of concrete on the three point hitch makes my tractor useless for connecting anything to it? Do you know of a site with plans? Thanks

It would work. With a little time on the forms and if you had a welder to attach rebar to some plates that bolt onto your wheels. Make a cage out of rebar to hold it together. I had thought of using caulk tubes as mini sono tubes to get a socket in there.

Dad made several, for the H and also for the Oliver 88.
He found old metal wheels from old manure spreaders or binders or whatever that fit just right inside the tractor wheels, and poured the concrete around the spokes. Has the metal outside band for protection, been on the H for man, must be 45 or more years.
