So I was out driving my tractor and it started to get all herky jerky and kept dying. I pulled the fuel line off and discovered that the interior of the fuel line had sluffed off and got stuck in the carb fuel inlet valve. I figured that since I had the carb off I might as well put the rebuild kit I had to good use. After sitting at the kitchen table last night rebuilding it I went to the auto parts store this morning and got new fuel line. Now I can"t seem to get the dang thing started. It is backfiring through the exhaust and also teh carb. I mean good two inch flames coming ut of the carb periodically but still won"t start. I have the valves set to the factroy recommended one turn cc. I am thinking of pulling out the spark plugs cuz maybe I fouled them? I think it may also be possible that there is additional debris in the fuel intake, I am just not too sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
