Remove hydraulic unit from SC

How do I get the hyd unit off, it seperates a couple inches but won't come off because the shaft is holding it.

the pto shaft extends into the clutch housing you need to take the side cover off and there is a cap that needs removed that will give you access to the nut that retains the pto shaft . Keep in mind there is also a gear on this shaft in the transmission that requires removing the top cover to access.
