Remove injector sleeve

Drain the antifreeze. Bunch up some paper towels and jam down into the bottom of injector sleev. Get a 5/8 or 3/4 tap (don't remember which its been a while). Tap sleeve some until you can thread a bolt in a ways. Use a slide hammer on the bolt and pull out sleeve.

3/4 tap and thread it down into the injector sleeve and then us a 3/4 inch bolt and i use two injector puller pry bars . Make sure the cooling system is drained . The installation toll is a huge help when installing the new one .

Thank You, I am trying to help a neighbor. I will drill the head of a 3/4 cap screw and tap to 1/2 x20 to fit my slide hammer. I have 3/4 NC tap

Would be a lot of work to drill and tap the bolt itself. Just weld a nut to the top of the bolt before you screw it into the sleeve.
