well, my dad decided to have the 970 repainted...............my cousin is doing it, he says: he doesnt make much money doing tractors, but does it anyway because he loves the before-after look. he treats the way he paints things like its his. we ordered a new side counsel (range, draft, remotes) decal set for it to and got a got a new parking brake cable for it because it was going bad.
the side panels and hood off.

Update 1-2-11. they said they kind of struggled with the little clamp like things that hold on to the rim (rear tires). they were putting back all of the lights and what not. told me it should be done by Wednesday.

Looks great if you ask me. I can"t help but notice you have a turbo on it. When you put the turbo on, did you have to change anything like different piston/sleeve assemblies in or just manifold, plumbing ect? Again, looks great! Rob.

Hey Rob, I'm not sure, we bought it in 2008, and it already had the turbo on it. I PTO dynoed it at the local tractor show and it dynoed at 146hp. Casenutty and Jason K think its been turned up as well.

Looking good Kenny!!!!!lots of small detailing on the newer CASE tractors with alot more things on them!!!!Dash side shift panel !!! but it looking great!!!!!!! sure you will be posting more great shots in days to come!!!!!

As Stated that tractor was pretty sharp to start with. WE turboed several 970's with equipment from the 1175 parts cataloge. If I was you I would add the oil cooler and twin oil filters to cool the bottom end of the engine, and install a much larger air intake system to cool the cumbustion area better. Turbo's swallow 3X the air than a NA engine. Lack of lots of cool intake air will destroy the top end. Our 970T's without any pump changes dynoed at 145 PTO HP +. Turn the screw and +++++++.
