Replace Check Valve on 71 Ford 3000

I haven't been on here for several years and I now have something I need to ask you guys. I have been repairing and replacing O-rings and parts inside my top cover for hydraulics. I'm at this check valve and I've taken it apart and everything looks great but I am at a loss as to how I'm supposed to put this valve seat back in right. It has the little holes in it and I'm trying to figure out if I'm supposed to line it up with these holes or do I just press it in there somehow. I didn't have the tool to pull it but I used the long bolt with a couple nuts and washers to get it out not sure what I'm supposed to use to get it back in besides a hammer and I'm scared to start pounding on it because I don't know where those holes line up at and I don't want to damage it as I hear it's quite expensive. Have y'all got any suggestions or help? TYIA!

It is a little tricky. I recently did it on a 900 cover, and I found the video on it by
"Chicken House mechanic" to be very helpful. I can't say that your 71 3000 is the same as my 900 but I know that they are very close.
