Replace MF 135 air cleaner hose

I have to replace the hose between the air cleaner and the carburetor on a MF 135 Perkins gas. Is there an easy way to do this?

It shouldn't be too difficult. Sometimes it helps to get the new hose warm so it's more flexible.

Get the correct hose. A new hose will be more flexible than the old one on it now. It should be a fairly easy swap.

Clean both metal ends and then a bit of WD 40 inside the new hose and you will be amazed at how easy it goes on. And no the WD 40 will not hurt the hose.

My replacement hose came today and it certainly is very pliable. I should not have a problem replacing it.
