Replace or rebuild engine oil pump-134 gas?

I am rebuilding my 64' 2000 w/134 gas engine.
I see oil pump rebuild kit or a new pump. Is it worth it to rebuild or should I just buy the new pump? The difference is $42 if bought from this site.

I think there were 2 types of pumps for the 134, depending on what year it is... That said, I rebuilt the pump in my Jubilee when I rebuilt the engine more than 1000 hours ago. Still has great oil pressure, and I would go that route again.

There are 4 things that wear in an oil pump. As long as you know what to inspect and can get the parts, then rebuild is fine.

Replace it. Neither one will break the bank.
