Replaceing Fan Belt

What is the simplest manner or procedure to replaceing the fan belt on a 8n front mount Thanks

My 8N front mount has been changed to a 12 volt system with a 1 wire chevy alternator.I loosened the bolt on the top slider bracket pushed the alternator inward and this didn"t give me enough clearance.So I pulled the whole alt. off and had no problem with the belt in the pulley putting the main alt. bolt back in the bottom side.Then just put the top bolt in and adjust. cellar door......I CUT the belt for eazy removal. Simple, eh? .......Dell

Like Dell, I always cut the old one. The new belt (and the old one) is always a close fit in and around the fan blades and the radiator shroud.
