Had a hole in my fuel tank sending unit float. 
No tractor sites I could find sold just the float, they only sell the whole sending unit for $45 and up.
I found that a Ford float part # [b:13f2b9ee43]C0AZ-9202-B[/b:13f2b9ee43] is a perfect replacement.
You just have to unsolder one small solder joint to the arm.
The new one fits nice and snug in place.
Just do a google product search with the ford part #.
I paid about $12 at a local restoration shop.
It seems that all these models use this float,
1020, 1520, 1530, 2020, 2030, (2440, 2640 s\n up to 340999), 2630, 300B, 301A, 302, 302A, 310A, 310B, 401B, 401C, JD300, JD301, JD310, JD380, JD400, JD401, JD410, JD480, JD480A, JD480B.
