Just wanted to post photos of the replacement grease seal CNH sells now. Looks like it should work well.

Thats the old standby seal theyve sold forever NCA1190A. Rubber goes out, rubs on spindle keeps dirt out.

I'm sure you are right about them using these for a long time, but doesn't look much the original I pulled off. I'm glad you indicated which way they go, as I would have been tempted to turn the rubber seal in.

Not sure what Greg meant. If he's thinking of the spindle as part of the pedestal then this answer is correct.

If he's not, and I wouldn't be, then the answer is no.

I sometimes don't read carefully enough, I may very well be misleading folks as this seal is for the spindle and NOT the pedestal.

Just spitting a little snow now, but suppose to get a pretty good patch of it tomorrow. Are you getting some of the weekend snow over your way?

Yes it is snowing. 5 to 8 inches predicted at the farm. 3 to 5 here at my city house. Grounf was virtually bare here at Washington. Not so much at Lincoln.

I think we are talking about two differnet seals here. As previously stated the NCA1190A is the seal that goes in the hub and rubs on the face of the spindle to keep dust,dirt etc. out of the hub.The one shown in the photo is the NCA1190A.
My question is regarding the same type of dust seal but it goes on the bottom of the spindle assembly (on the one pc tricycle spindle assy)and the part number is or was NCB3215A which CNH no longer supports.
Mine was completely destroyed, really nothing at all left of it.
See item number 2 in the attached assy. Does anyone know where I can get one or a suitable replacement ?

Greg do you still have the casing from the old seal? if so go to the hardware store and get some 1/2" rubberized door seal and glue that material to the old casing. Have been doing this for a number of years withgood results.

No, I don"t even have the old seal casing. Whoever had the tractor before let the large spindle bearing destroy itself and in turn the seal and casing were worn to nothing.

I think I still have a pedestal housing out in the other building, will check to see if the seal casing is there.
