That would be really handy in those rare occasions like a flat tire on a wagon in the mud, or moving grain from a burnt combine.
 
There were a lot of those around grass seed storage sheds auguring grass seed onto trucks out of flat storage sheds going to the seed cleaners. Still see some around....James

of all the farmer engineering things out there i'm surprised I haven't seen more that idea. I would think you'd want a wide front for that setup... maybe not??

I recall as a kid the guy that farmed the neighboring field had rigged up an old Massey Harris narrow front with large racks on each side to haul aluminum irrigation pipe from farm to farm. Had to take both sides of the road as the racks were fairly big. He had quite the hodge podge of machinery but mostly MFs.
