Hi Guys,
Wondering if anyone has information or has one of these?
I just bought this from a estate in MN.
It runs perfect and very comfortable to operate around the yard .
I don't plan using it other then for show &tell
I fell for it being a factory propane & single front & 350 ,I.H. loader.
Any comments or knowledge on it appreciated
Tony

The one pictured above is a farm-built unit. IH never made anything like that and if they did they would be more sophisticated about it.

Honeybee is a company that made reverse loaders out of A's B's and C's in the days before skidsteers. Once skidsteers were invented they pretty much became obsolete.

Never for one minute thought I .H. made these conversion .
What I have heard was that there was a machine shop in upper Mid-west that manufactured these conversions and they really never caught on but there were more then a few around.
Any info on that or pictures?

The H that I saw was at the Albert City, Iowa show. MANY years ago. I tried to get a picture, but my camera was out of film. That tells you how long ago it was.

Nicely done! I have a Cockshutt 30 I reversed back in the 80s, it's on LP also. Had a 7 foot home made mower deck for it when I had a huge yard to mow. Never did get it painted yet though..

Homemade but they did a decent job. The only ones I've seen in person that were reversed were 560's with a forklift.

I missed two 350lp's within the last year or so! On one, pullers had got the motor but I got the rest of it (bedders and cultivators too). The other one had been sitting for a LONG time but had spin adjust wheels. Poor old guy had started cutting (!) it up for scrap about a week before I found it. I did save a WR9 and WD9 from that he hadn't started on yet.

I have a reversed F-12.There is a Reversed AC D17 and a reversed M in the neighbornood. There is a reversed H at FarmallandUSA Museum...I personally know of another M and H and Case VAC.Yes they are out there. All are 'farmer made'.Like said, the skidsteer and the higher hp frontwheel assist pretty much killed the reversed tractor...

Appreciate the comments ,Fellas, Yes ,as far as I know they were all farmer or blacksmith built.
In my 69 years of farm living I have never seen one out here in Cali. Have seen them years ago in pictures in the Mid-West. This one came from Mn.
When I saw this one I fell in love with it the more I looked at it because of what I stated before.(I.H.350,L.P. Single wheel front & they used a I.H. loader. It looked clean enough to leave as is)
I don't plan restoring it other then clean-up things like Dash location & wires, Exhaust pipe with new full muffler & weather cap , Donaldson glass Jar Air cleaner bonnet, Proper I.H. battery box, and anything mechanical it may need . So far mechanically only thing that need repairing is a small leak on power steering pump.
I plan on taking it to our Antique Farm Equipment show in 10 days.I think it will be a good conversational piece.

CenTexFarmall,
I know you have stated before that there are many L.P.'s in your area. However, It breaks my heart to see a good Farmall on propane go to scrapper or any Farmall for that matter.
However ,I cannot save anymore, LOL,I have three I.H. L.P.'s & a MM U L.P. & L.A. Case L.P. Not to mention the five Gas I.H's I've saved.
If I get anymore I'll need saving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my area there were a few W-9's and WD-9's reversed with loaders. One of the WD-9 reversals also had a motor swap to a 350 Chev with the automatic transmission. The tractor transmission remained as a range selector and the automatic was used for quick forward-reverse shifts for loader work. It was used for loading round bales on a tractor-trailer.

The MFA feed and seed stores(Missouri Farmers Association) had loaders in the early sixties that were reversed. H or C, they were painted white and the name was Busy Bee, or Honey Bee. I was 8 or 9 but I knew they looked like uncle Keith's Super H. I saw them at different stores around the county.

There was a blacksmith in Bowdle S.Dak.that had reversed 4-5 H's for different people,He extended the shifting rails,[maybe about 12 inches] and put in new crossovers and a new socket for the shift levers, on top of the belt pulley plate. That worked pretty good, but you also had to flip the ring and pinion over, so u had 5 gears going the direction you were faceing. Its a lot of work!
