Reverse O Torque or Hydra Power

I have found this tractor that is a 2 strokes Diesel. It has a huge trencher machine behind it to burry cables and was used up to 2007 for fiber optic installation.
It was not sold under the Oliver brand, the owner did not know it wasz an Oliver. The owner did have the original operator manual and he said Westinghouse, but I am not 100% sure on that one.

User said that tractor has an hydraulic creeper: You need to accellerate and it goes. I always taught it was the hydraulic thing on the back, but after more research, it could be a Reverse O Torque tractor, and the thing on the back could be pumps that are PTO driven.

Could you please help me identify this gem? Do you think that such a thing is desirable? I am not afraid by work.

That looks like a Hydra Power setup. It should have a knob below the lower right corner of the dash to select direct or Hydrapower. However if the tractor has a true hydraulic creeper setup, a Hydrapower was probably not installed.

Reverse O Tork will have have no reverse positions (no R1 and R2) in the gear pattern. Also no clutch pedal nor hand throttle lever. (Forward and reverse are selected - in whatever gear selected on the main tranny - by stomping either the FWD or REV pedals at the operator's right foot. Engine RPM is then set by how far either pedal is depressed.)

Man that's a great old rig love it.A trencher would have to have some way to make it creep and go very slow,it maybe something the trencher company provided not Oliver.

Why do I see what appears to be clutch linkage on the cover attached to the flywheel housing? No. 2 photo), would not be there with reverse,o,torque.
Also photo #1 shows a clutch pedal, either hydro power or creeper I would guess. If the S/N and spec # is available call the Floyd County Museum at Charles City, they can tell you how it was equipped when built etc.

Just buy the dang thing. If you don’t, let me know where it’s at KS and I will. I’ll bet a coke float it has a reverse-o-torque in it. If it’s broken it can be fixed. It’s really heavy, so don’t try to go get it with a Chevy and a car hauler!

It's a Koring vibrating cable plow. They bought 4-115's from Oliver and built the plow around them. Should be equipped with the creeper drive unit where the hydra power goes. There very heavy.

That has a creeper. I think they only worked in certain gears. 1-2-4 or something like that. The throttle with the stepped graduations in that photo is somewhat a giveaway.

Oh, and BUY IT. It's a fwa Oliver. Rip off the creeper and everything else, find a two speed and ruin everyone's hearing while pulling some wagons.

I should add, it looks like a Parsons DP-100. If you do a google search you'll find pics of the same thing in yellow. Parsons was part of the Koehring conglomerate at the time.

Yes, it is a DP100! The thing had not moved nor ran and sat outside for 10 years, but it cranked at the turn of the key and fired up on 2nd attempt.
It was idling smoothly, but the injector racks stucked as soon as I moved the trottle.
I knew about the baffle thing in the compressor and it was a good thing that I checked motion BEFORE starting.

The hydraulics and steering are working. The motor is good.
Only visible issue that I saw was that the gears would not go. It is stuck in neutral-low. The lever is moving left to right and right to left, but it would not engage in any fork.
Is it possible that there is a park lock lever or something that I did not saw?
The owner has the original DP100 operator and parts manual. There are no mentions at all of the Oliver name, and the owner (almost 70), does not know that it is an Oliver tractor.
