Does any one know wher to find a set of 12X38 rims for a Farmall M or H the parts books shows the part numbers the same for both. I want to run 13.6-38 tires. Thanks Mike

The regular 2 step rims used on the later M's is what you want for 13.6-38's. The earlier M's and H's used narrower rims....the M used a narrower 1 step rim and the H used a still narrower 1 step rim for the early tire applications. The book you refer to must be using old early 1940's data. About 1948 most new M's started coming with 12-38(13.6-38) tires and H's came with 11-38's(12.4-38), the M using a 2 step rim and the H a 1 step rim.

I have good success with 13.6X38 on 11X38 standard rims. Most H and M tractors had in my experience the 11X38 rim. Seems to be the most common size rim.
