Check out these old John Deeres I discovered this past week (Virginia, USA). They have been sitting a LONG LONG time. So long infact, that wide trees have grown around them. I took pics cause I know there are more crazies than just me out there who enjoy looking at this stuff.
Enjoy!

RIP....My A%$! I dug my 35 brass tag B and the 36 parts tractor out of a heck of a worse mess than that. If the money was right I would go for them...

The Brass tag is the one that is leaning over...

Where are those? I'm in Va. also. Roanoke area. Not that I'm gonna buy them. Looks like pretty flat land. Looks like east of I-95.

Well we've all been to those places, you go to the door and ask if they're for sale and you get the answer NO I'M GOING TO FIX THOSE UP COME SPRING AND YOU FEEL LIKE SAYING well heck i knew that and you was going to haul them on that truck to the machine shop,RIGHT??????????????

You have titled this post very correct! for them to RIP is the best solution. At best, they may serve as donors, but to bring such back to life is far too costly - especially Model "H" tractors. Now if there was a really rare one amongst the bunch - different story. Most likely not. (PatB)

If they are for sale and not too far away I’d buy them. Not everything in this world is about profit.

I got a plain old 48A and a plain old everyday 60 that I drug from the bushes in about the same condition, I’d love to have an H or 2 to go with them. For some of us its about the history and tradition and every one of these jewels has some hope still left. I think some folks are either in it just for profit or they think that the less of them that are saved the more valuable theirs become.

RIP.... My A@$! also. Most of the tractors in my area around here were restored from this shape. If you're worried about how much money you'll have in it, then you're in the wrong hobby mister. Everybody only wants the 'cream of the crop' for restoration. One day soon this will be the only kind left to restore.
