You are correct.i don’t believe the ford 3 point hitch had down pressure. Know some aftermarket ones for the farmall could be set to have downward pressure
Could be wrong as I never had that model ford. Later fords didn’t have down pressure
Though somewhat limited, they're a handy little tractor. I've had a 9N & a late 8N & there was no down pressure on the arms.i don’t believe the ford 3 point hitch had down pressure. Know some aftermarket ones for the farmall could be set to have downward pressure

Thanks for sharing, it is good. Always like the Junk Yard Gold show on the Motor Trend channel
That's Steve Magnante, I really enjoy his shows. He had some serious health issues last year and luckily now is recovering. Looking forward to seeing him back on TV.
X2. He had lots of errors but only us Ford collectors/users would notice. Overall not bad.Lots of errors on the video, but basically good.
I've watched him at the auto auctions and he has forgot more than most people will ever know about cars. Tractors may not be his strong point, but he did give out some good information. Might consider watching the video before throwing down on him.I've watched some of his stuff. Not a fan.
Like many others, there are inaccuracies in his presentations.
I didn't watch this one but the 3 point hitch down pressure comments here lead me to believe he got that wrong too.
I don't see any point in watching stuff that is obviously wrong yet the presenter doesn't know it's wrong and is presenting it as fact.
What else is he, and others, getting wrong that I don't know about?
How can I, and others, trust them to be right?
There is way to much wrong information floating around the internet to take anything as the truth without checking as many sources as possible.

WHAT a "bullshipper"!Leading others without that knowledge to false conclusions.
Not cool in my books.
this is one of my pet peeves. when you see an 'expert' say something that's obviously wrong, it makes me wonder how much ELSE of that expertise was wrong too.Leading others without that knowledge to false conclusions.

i prefer to put my trust in people who've never said anything that was obviously wrong to me.
