Rocker pin (#486) removal

I'm trying to use the forum search tool and avoid asking yet another question that's been beat to death already, but I must be calling this part by the wrong name? Not finding much written up so far.

I'd call it the top link rocker shaft. In the parts catalog for both the N's and the Hundreds it's called a Pin - Hydraulic Lift Yoke and the illustration shows #486.

I'm trying to ease one of these pins out of an 850 without beating it up. One tip has a slight taper, but other than that, this shaft is solid stuck in place. Any suggestions?

thanks,

I use lots of penetrating oil, patience and I have a 1/2" X 6" brass rod that I use for a punch. Give the penetrating oil time to work.
