Rod cap torque#?

Is there a torque spec on the nuts that hold the end cap on the rod? We torqued them to 75lbs each and made sure the couder keys fits. The drag on the crank seem fine. It said in my book just to make sure the drag feels fine while turning it over by hand.

I can understand your suspicion with all the spam and stuff going on today, but...you didn't give him the tractors model and the specs for the rod caps are different according to the model. He was trying to be nice and SEND you the bulletin in an e-mail so you could pick out what you needed. It is a pdf file with a LOT of good specs and I am sure he had no intention of re-typing the entire thing here. All that being said, if you want to send me an e-mail I will be happy to send you the document also. There are MANY helpful people on this forum, but it only works if you are willing to meet them in the middle.

It is a three page document in PDF format I understand if you don't want to give your e-mail address out. Do you have suggestions of a way to communicate privately? The rod values for a B are 75 foot pounds then tighten until cotter keys can be used.

If you will look I did type my email adres in after I typed that kinda rud comment. I thought about it and relized that he probly wants to send me the pages from the book. I have been on here alot and got alot of useful info and have even been able to answer a few questions. Maybe you guys can't see it. I put my email on modern view. It's [email protected] How do I get my email to be shown on my posts? Sorry if I came off rud. But one has to wonder about hackers now a days.

At least on classic view, (I don't use modern much 'cept to post multiple pics) there is a place to enter your email address, and a checkbox for "email notification" This will allow someone to send you an email from the site while hiding your email address, so you are not exposing your email to the site, internet and all the spammers 'n scammers.
